Wandering the map in search of a lord so you can talk to him can be so boring at times. In other circumstances, you can't even chat to the hero because they aren't on the map or in a town. It's no longer a concern at this time. You will be able to communicate with any encyclopedic hero with the use of this mod. Simply open the encyclopedia, select the character you want to learn more about, then press the button. This is a request. You and he or she will speak when he or she is prepared. Additionally, the patch expands the dialog choices for asking a ruler about his location and goal.
I have added various options, including a unique Pigeon Post Mode, for those who favor realism. You will need to wait a while for a discussion while this mode is active. The time varies according to how far apart the heroes are. If you move toward the hero you want to speak with after sending a message, you can cut down on this time. But keep in mind that this time is also impacted by the movement of another hero. You are allowed to send as many messages as you wish at once. Beware! The save file does not save messages. Therefore, if you send a message, save, and then load the game, no dialogue will have been started.
